RESIDENTS living near central Coonamble may have noticed the sky grow thick with smoke mid-last week following a grass fire on Limerick Street.
The blaze was extinguished quickly by the local Fire and Rescue brigade, however responders believe the fire may have been deliberately lit.
Coonamble Fire and Rescue Station Commander Andrew Morley said the fire was first reported to the brigade . . .
