NUMBERS were up at the Coonamble Greyhound Racing Club's (CGRC) Gold Cup Carnival held over the long weekend.
The track held up beautifully despite struggles with watering and the encroaching kangaroo population.
The prize purse for the weekend topped $55,000 with $10,000 to the winner of the Gold Cup, David Pringle from Cleargate near Orange.
