The Gulargambone Gold Cup races on 31 August are approaching as fast as the jockeys will be coming at the finish line.
Last year the event attracted 450 people from near and far and this year the racing committee is hoping to beat that number.
The weekend kicks off with a Calcutta for the main race at 8 pm on Friday 30 August at the Gulargambone Bowling Club with dinner available for patrons to purchase.
