Two local women joined about 30 motorcyclists from across NSW on a ride raising money for domestic violence survivors on Saturday 15 November.
Gulargambone's Pru Holgate and Armatree's Nic Morris took part in a day trip which ran from Dubbo to Gulargambone, then back through Collie, as part of the annual Australasian Women’s Motorcycle Ride Day.
The bike-a-thon is aimed at promoting riding for women in Australia, New Zealand and China, and the regional event doubles as a fundraising opportunity for Dubbo-based DV refuge The Orchard.
