After a record year for the Gular Races, the Gulargambone Jockey Club won the Australia Day Award for Community Group of the Year on January 26.
In the past ten years since Tom Gadsby has been president, the races have gone from 250 attendees to nearly 600.
“It’s nice to be recognised by the community and to see that the club is moving forward,” he said . . .
