The power of community spirit was on full show last Sunday 17 December when around 300 people showed up to support a local legend.
Willy Redington was born and bred in Gulargambone, along with his sister Pam (Jones).
In 1980, after the sudden death of his father Jack, Willy took over the shearing contracting business, which he ran successfully for many years, mentoring many young shearers and shedhands…
