Coonamble-trained horse Ilikesooboogie bagged almost $4000 after winning the opening race at Come By Chance Picnic Club on 27 September.
The seven-year-old finished the 800-metre race race in 46.45 seconds in front of least 300 racegoers on Saturday, ridden by Ashley Boyde.
Trainer Joe Hodgson said he felt confident going into the tilt.
