JUST recently, Animal Health & Nutrition Consulting achieved ParaBoss Worm Egg Counting Quality Assurance Certification for 2022.
ParaBoss is the national group that leads the development and extension of best practice information, training and tools to improve parasite management on farms in Australia.
They oversee the QA program and it involves being sent a range of faecal samples with a known quantity of worm eggs, which are then counted using AHN’s usual methods in the lab right here at Coonamble.
We passed with flying colours with 100% of samples counted accurately!
