Inland Rail: N2N may be revived

Just when you thought the local stretch of the Inland Rail project was dead and buried, the 'founder and father' of the concept steps back in to fight for what he still maintains is necessary nation-building infrastructure.

Last Friday 10 July, Coonamble Shire Council's Mayor Dan Keady and General Manager Greg Hill joined with other council representatives along the route between Narromine and Narrabri to discuss a proposal with Everald Compton and other members of his team from Greenlink Australia.

Although entire properties have been purchased under the project, land acquired for easements . . .
