In a way, it's Laura Bishop's love of country music that set her on a path to Coonamble shire.
She was at a festival in 2024 where she was living on the Central Coast when she met Coonamble carpet layer Nick Edwards.
The pair caught up for a date at a concert by American singer Luke Combs early this year."I just cried the whole time," she laughed.
