Coonamble's newest paramedic is keen to wrap his head around the finer points of local fishing.
"Fresh water is sort of a different game," Luke Robins said.
"I've tried it here. I've caught a fish probably about the size of my thumb, so I need to try and touch base with some locals that actually know what they're doing."
