Residents picking up a prescription may have noticed a newer face behind the counter at Coonamble Pharmacy.
Indian-born Miliya Gladson joined the team in May from Perth.
It’s the pharmacist’s first time working in a small town.
“When I told my friends I’ll be moving to Coonamble, they were asking ‘it might be a regional area. How will you survive there?’” she laughed.
“Everything is here: the basic facilities like school, a hospital, daycare for my child.
“I don’t like busy city life.
