“It’s ridiculous and unwelcome” – Community clubs fear tax hike

Gulgargambone Bowling club manager Cody Searle is very concerned about The Minns Labor Government refusing to rule out a tax hike on community clubs despite their promise ahead of the 2023 state election not to introduce any new taxes.

“It’s ridiculous this will hurt small clubs who support their communities,” he said.

“We thought they paused this and with beer price tax hurting it would be very unwelcome.”…
