Arriving in Australia in November 2018 at the age of 33, Philippines-born Janice Al Habbas came straight to Coonamble to join husband and resident Paul Kerslake.She worked part-time as a cleaner before joining Global Village Café in December that year while tending to Paul at the local hospital.Paul passed away in 2019, but Janice remained in Coonamble and adopted the town as home, her children joining her in November 2023.She was awarded . . .
