Finally, comes the exciting time of the year when the individual championships are played to decide the champion of the scratch and handicap. Last Wednesday 21st June the lady golfers went out to play the first of the 27 holes. According to the ladies it would be a great battle.
After setting off down the fairway on a freezing cold morning the first 9 holes was completed 1 hour later with Jenny Murray and Trish Boreham on 48 and Pam Goldsmith 3 behind on 51.
