Thursday Night BowlsLast Thursday 9th October was the first evening of night bowls.
Everyone kept an eye on the weather forecast all day and it was stated the rain would begin at 3.00pm, then 4.00pm and so on.
Nothing happened until roughly 6pm when misty showers started.
Finally, at 6.30pm it started to rain steady.
Some bowlers shook their heads and were frightened they would get pneumonia but we still had some that were keen to play.
All the bowlers came prepared, so . . .
