Eighteen residents from the Koonambil Aged Care Centre got to celebrate the Melbourne Cup in style with a lunch at the Bowling Club prior to the races on 5 November.All of the residents who were mobile enough to travel joined the event.It took three trips with the bus to get everyone to the Bowling Club.The ladies showed off their derby hats with matching coloured shirts.
