Students from Preschool to Year 6 have commenced weekly Gamilaraay Language lessons with Mrs Jo Lee.
Lessons take place in the dedicated Language and Culture room and many outdoor learning areas around the school.
This term students have been learning about Country and Culture and jointly constructing a class Acknowledgement of Country in Language.
Classes are learning to say their Acknowledgement in language before the school day starts and at school and community events.
