ON 30 October 2012, I had my very first mammogram.
I was 45 years old without any symptoms and I had missed the Breast Cancer Van when it visited Coonamble but my Mum had been on to me about starting regular breast checks, so I decided to book into the Breast Clinic in Dubbo.
I made the phone call but unfortunately they were fully booked.
