Two local farmers say they are concerned that a proposed pig bounty could encourage poaching on their properties.
NSW premier Chris Minns floated the idea in May 2025 as a way to tackle wild pig numbers.However, Wingadee cropper Waylon Bright said that he is concerned about how hunters would be policed.
"We haven't had too many issues now for a while as far as poachers go, but that bounty might change that," he said.
"It just depends on how they're going to regulate it.
