A Coonamble writer has been acknowledged in the hotly contested Country Press NSW (CPNSW) 125th Anniversary Writing Competition.
Former retailer Dermot Lynch received an Encouragement Award in the Open Adult section of the awards, selected from among 74 other entrants from around New South Wales.
To commemorate the anniversary of Australia’s oldest print media association, founded in 1900, the creative writing competition was held in the readership areas of CPNSW member newspapers across the state.
