Two Shire schoolgirls are heading to the national stage this year after being selected for the Budgies Australian Indigenous Schoolgirls Team.
Jannali Walker grabbed a spot in the under-12s while Zahlee Fernando made the under-15s in January's Gold Coast trials for the Budgies Australian Indigenous Schoolgirls Netball Team.
The under-12s will compete in Melbourne in early September against state and territory representative teams from across Australia during the National Schoolgirls Netball Championships.
