Coonamble’s Emily Warner and Meg McCloud had success on the AFL field this weekend winning the Regional Bank Senior Women’s AFL Cup with the Central West Eagles.
Emily and Meg who play for the Dubbo Demons were members of the Central West Eagles Women’s AFL team which included players from Dubbo Demons, Bathurst Bushrangers, Orange Tigers and Cowra Blues.
The Cup was hosted Saturday 28 June at Gunnedah’s Wolsley Park.
The Cup was first contested in 2018 and was last held in 2021.
