A man was hospitalised on Monday afternoon after an alleged assault involving a machete on Bertram Street.
Emergency services were called to a home at around 2pm on 28 October following reports of an assault.
A police spokesperson said officers attended and were told a group of people were allegedly involved in a verbal altercation before violence broke out.
