Police arrested a 28-year-old man in Coonamble last week after firearms and vehicles were allegedly stolen from properties near Baradine and local police pursued the suspect into the Pilliga Scrub.
A police spokesperson said that officers were called to a rural property on Baradine Road at about 5:30pm on 16 September, with reports that a white utility and blue quad bike were stolen.
“Police were told an unknown person forced entry into the property about 3:30am on the same day before the car and the motorcycle was stolen,” the spokesperson said . . .
