A young man was tragically killed in a blaze in the early hours of Friday morning 25 July at a home in Aberford Street in east Coonamble.
Police say that emergency services responded at about 2:30am to reports of a fire inside a granny flat at the rear of the home.
Fire and Rescue NSW crew extinguished the fire and the body of a man was found inside the premises.
He was later identified as the 34-year-old occupant Tom Thurston.
Mr Thurston had been confined to a wheelchair . . .
