KOONAMBIL's longest serving staff member was fondly farewelled on Friday 28 October with fellow staff members specially dressed in his trademark flannelette shirt ahead of a surprise luncheon with residents in the lounge.
"When I got here the staff were all dressed up like me in a flannelette shirt with 'Mick' nametags on them," Mick told the Coonamble Times. "That day I'd actually come in a T-shirt but I thought I may as well go along with it - luckily . . .
