Last Saturday 26 July, after the green was soaked from rain the day before, the bowls was still able to go ahead thanks to Daryle and Allan draining the green.
Thanks to their efforts the Mid West Open Reserve Fours competition took place at the Coonamble Bowling club, with Coonamble facing off against Binnaway and Gilgandra.
The games were over 21 ends and the green was running between 15 and 16 . . .
