Two men were taken to hospital in Coonamble after a crash on Tuesday 20 May involving a police car on the highway into the town.
A Bathurst truck driver told the Western Plains App that the police vehicle was heading north on the Castlereagh Highway with its sirens on at around 1:30pm when a white utility heading south made a U-turn near the Coonamble Roadhouse.
