The Murdi Paaki Regional Assembly devised a strategy to increase Indigenous workforce participation levels long-term through education, employment, and training.
The plan titled Aboriginal Workforce Participation Strategy was presented to stakeholders in Cobar on 27 February.
Bourke, Brewarrina, Cobar, Collarenebri, Coonamble, Gulargambone, Lightning Ridge, and Walgett are included in the Murdi Paaki region among others.
