Coonamble’s youngsters took full advantage of July’s NAIDOC activities as the school holidays pass the halfway mark.
Pottery, Gamilaraay language bingo and a children’s ball were some of the activities packed into five working days between 7-11 July.
The Coonamble Aboriginal Land Council (LALC) also hosted a lunch for elders at the Coonamble Bowling Club on Tuesday 8 July.
The land council blew the start whistle on NAIDOC Week with a Monday flag raising ceremony and afternoon tea.
