FOR the second consecutive week, the AWEX Eastern Market Indicator (EMI) has recorded no movement to close at 1,342c/kg.
With only 37,431 bales presented due to no sale in Fremantle, the smaller offering attracted solid buyer support, with prices on offer for Merino fleece types generally in line with those of the previous week.
The only real holes evident in the market were for 17.0 18.5 micron wools in the South, reflected in the individual Micron Price Guides (MPGs) in Melbourne falling by 5 36 cents.
