There is still no sign of the first two houses planned for the Yarran Street housing subdivision on a vacant plot of land at the intersection with Reid Street in Coonamble.
The contracted builders, Simmons Global, were originally scheduled to complete installation in May, although owner Dave Simmons said they were delayed a couple of months to ensure the best design for regional and remote housing needs.
The modular components for the houses are to be constructed at a site near Narromine before being delivered and erected in Coonamble.
