State-wide local government elections are set for 14 September and crunch time is nearing for those thinking of throwing their hats in the ring.
Nominations for becoming a candidate for local councils open at 8am next Monday 5 August and close at 12noon on Wednesday 14 August.
With nine seats to fill at Coonamble Shire Council, many conversations are probing the topic of who might represent us.
