A pair of electric cars will hit the road first in Coonamble under a regional trial to curb emissions in the bush.
The local council received delivery of two Kia EV5 SUVs on 18 June, which staff will drive for three weeks on Coonamble roads before the trial moves to the Walgett, Bourke then Cobar shires.
The Far North West Joint Organisation (FNWJO) is running the trial with $15,000 from the NSW . . .
