At only 12 years old, Elias Milgate received the Australia Day award for Gulargambone's Sportsperson of the Year after a very successful year across five different sports.
He won the Coonamble Zone Sportsperson of the Year award in 2024, reaching state level competitions three times.
"All that factored into him receiving the award," Elias' mother Laura Irwin said.
