The season feels like it’s sitting on a knife edge at the moment, it has continued to dry off around the district with any rainfall received being very patchy.
Decent rainfall in the next few weeks would activate both the markets as well as the 2024 planting schedule.
We saw a good spike in both sheep and cattle markets for most of January and February however prices have continued to ease over the last three weeks.
