Plenty of smiles around Coonamble this weekend with 20 to 40 millimetres of rain in the district.
Those who have sown in the previous few weeks and a few warm days should see fair growth coming into June.
Both the sheep and cattle market have fluctuated in the past few weeks and with good showers across the state this should firm up prices coming in to winter.
Coonamble’s next fat sale is scheduled Wednesday 22 May with 1000 cattle expected.
