THE last few months have been tough- there’s no denying the wet weather, overcast conditions, lack of growth and fear of FMD has had a dramatic affect on both sheep and cattle markets.
On a much brighter note the season and markets have started to turn markedly with the slightly warmer and somewhat longer days and the FMD worries being put on the back burner.
We are now seeing young store and feeder cattle back to rates earlier in the year which is great!
