Community NAIDOC DayOn Thursday 25 September our students travelled to Coonamble to take part in the Community NAIDOC Day celebrations.
The day began with a special opening ceremony at the Aboriginal Lands Council, where everyone gathered for a minute silence.
After the ceremony, we marched through the streets of Coonamble, joining many members of the local community and all of the Coonamble schools.
When we reached the sports oval, the fun really began! Our students enjoyed a variety of craft activities, face painting, johnny cakes . . .
