The push is on to re-open Mount Magometon Quarry within weeks after remaining improvement notices were lifted.
The NSW Resources Regular has given the green light to recommence operations if Council are "confident" that their Safety Management Systems (SMS) are adequate.
Director of Infrastructure Services Kerrie Murphy said that they hope to open in the next two to three weeks.
