Last weekend a property on the Back Combara Road hosted a mini ranch-sorting competition with all winnings donated to the family of 11-year-old Cam Finn towards his battle against cancer.
Over 20 competitors packed up their swags and saddles and headed out to Kerrianne and Scott Edwards’ place for the last minute fundraiser.
After the official Coonamble team penning event was cancelled about a month ago, the Edwards put up their hand to hold a weekend where ranch sorting enthusiasts could put their practice to use.
