Aboriginal men will have a casual place to talk about their health and wellbeing, when the Aboriginal Men’s Wellness Program begins near the main street.
The Coonamble Aboriginal Health Service (CAHS) hope to host their first yarning circle in the coming weeks at the building between Commonwealth Bank and the Museum Under the Bridge on the highway.
Organiser Raymond ‘Mad Dog’ Robinson said the space will be open “on and off” on weekdays for men to drop in.
“What’s said in the group, stays in the group,” Raymond said.
