TRAVELERS heading south may have noticed a car beside the Castlereagh Highway, near the Nortongong turnoff, approximately 25 kilometres from Coonamble.
Nearby residents say the car had hit a large kangaroo and been left at the roadside for around three weeks.
At around 6:50am on Sunday 16 April emergency services were called to a roadside fireOfficers attached to Orana-Mid Western Police District arrived to find a Ford hatchback on fire.
