It was an all Coonamble affair at this year’s Christmas Street Party on Saturday 2 December, in an event made for locals by locals.
For a main street with many empty shop fronts, it was a change of scenery to have a bustling town centre filled with stalls, food, people, and music.
Council staff say early estimates are that anywhere from 1000 to 1500 people came into the cordoned off section of Castlereagh Street over the course of the event from 5pm through to 9pm…
