Workers Compensation Bill Amendment
During the sitting week I successfully amended the Government’s Industrial Relations Bill on workers compensation.
It is widely believed that the best way to reduce pressure on Workers Compensation Premiums, is to reduce the number and severity of Workers Compensation claims.
My amendment will require Safe Work NSW to work across the Government to identify industries, professions and even workplaces that need more focus and attention.
My Amendments mean there will be six-monthly reporting on claims, Improvement Notices and Prohibition Notices by SafeWork . . .
