The Australian wool market has recorded a second successive overall increase this week, with the AWEX Eastern Market Indicator (EMI) gaining eight cents for the week to close at 1,099c/kg.
With eight selling series conducted this season we can now more accurately compare seasonal quantities, and season to date so far there has been 267,613 bales offered at auction, 74,897 less than the previous season (a reduction of 21.9 per cent).
