The experimental plantings in Coonamble's main street garden beds has begun.
After council accepted local business owner Emily Cain's offer to donate some rhodanthe seeds (commonly known as paper daisies) in this month's council meeting, the work of planting got underway on Thursday 24 July and Friday 25 July.
With help from five council workers, Mrs Cain got to work planting between two and three kilos of seeds in all of the beds from Aberford to Tooloon street including the roundabout.
