THE Coonamble Times occasionally receives a visit from former residents looking to reconnect with their home town.
Recently we met Shirley Kwong (now Choy) who arrived in Coonamble with her family in 1949.
Her dad George Kwong got a taxi, at the same time as other taxis were operated by George and Grace Mason.
