It was all smooth sailing last week for the hazard reduction works along Baradine Road on Wednesday 21 February and Saturday 24 February.
Vicky Hogland from North West Rural Fire Service co-ordinated the effort that involved not only the North West team but also brigades from Warren and Coonamble.
"There was lots of brigade interest, we were asked by Local Land Services (LLS) to do it," said Vicky.
